My Path to Human-Centered Design
My path to UX design began in the most human-centered setting there is: healthcare. As a registered nurse, I spent years listening to patients, understanding their challenges, and navigating the systems meant to help them heal. That experience gave me a front-row seat to how powerful and how frustrating healthcare interactions can be. It also sparked a curiosity that’s guided my career ever since: how might design make healthcare feel simpler, kinder, and more connected?
Today, I bring that same empathy and curiosity to my work in healthcare UX.
Backed by a foundation in psychology and an MBA in progress, I merge clinical insight with strategic thinking to design experiences that work in the real world for patients, providers, and organizations alike. I’m especially passionate about transforming complex medical systems into intuitive digital tools that improve access, education, and trust
I love collaborating with cross-functional teams, blending data with storytelling, and translating user research into meaningful design decisions. Whether refining a workflow or shaping a digital health product from the ground up, my goal is always the same: to create experiences that improve outcomes and make care feel more human.
I’m open to both full-time roles and freelance collaborations in healthcare innovation, UX design, or digital health strategy.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me outdoors hiking new trails in the summer and skiing down them once they’re covered in snow. The balance, focus, and perspective I find there often fuel the creativity I bring back to my design work.
